Starting April 1, 2017, Norwegian Cruise Line will increase the onboard guests gratuities. Travelers occupying standard cabins on all NCL cruise ships, except Norwegian Sky, will be charged $13.99 instead of the current rate of $13.50 per person, per day, and $16.99 for the suites, up from the current $15.50.

Woman gets drunk, falls off cruise and sues the cruise line

The daily morning news - talk show Fox & Friends that airs on Fox News Channel, released a story about a woman who was rescued after she fell off Carnival cruise ship. The woman is now suing Carnival stating that the bartender was encouraging her to get drunk and the crew delayed the rescue operation. As shown in the surveillance video the woman falls from deck 7 hitting one of the lifeboats before ending up in the water.

The organization Mercy Ships which operates a vessel named Africa Mercy transformed into a floating hospital will use the donation to support more than 1,700 life-changing treatments and operations carried out by the volunteer doctors and surgeons while in Benin, Africa.
