A crew member went overboard in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean from the Costa Deliziosa cruise ship around 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March, 29. The ship was on repositioning cruise from North America to Europe when a terrible tragedy occurred on the eleventh day of the voyage.

Holland America Line cancels all stops in Acapulco

Holland America Line has canceled eight scheduled calls to the port of Acapulco, Mexico in 2017 and 2018, due to the security issues that this tourist destination is facing. Rock Legend Dies Performing Onstage on Cruise Ship

Sib Hashian, the drummer who played on the first two hit albums of the legendary rock group Boston, has died at the age of 67. The rock legend died after collapsing onstage Wednesday night onboard the cruise ship MSC Divina, operated by MSC Cruises. The ship was chartered for the Legends of Rock Annual Cruise. Witness onboard report that ships medical personnel performed CPR and a defibrillator was used but to no avail.

Man missing after fall from Carnival Victory off Cuba

The US Coast Guard launched a search operation on Wednesday morning for a 23-year-old man who fell off the Carnival Victory while the cruise ship was sailing 33 miles northwest of the Cuban shore. The missing person was identified as Brandon Paul, a resident of Floral City, Florida, who reportedly went overboard from the deck 8 off Carnival Victory at around 3 a.m. The cruise ship launched a search operation and contacted the Seventh Coast Guard District watchstanders.

Travel Alert: US bans laptops in cabin luggage in flights from 10 airports

Starting today, the Department of Homeland Security issued a ban on all electronics larger than a smartphone to be carried in the hand luggage from airplanes arriving into the USA from the airports that are considered risky.
