Feds Capture Carnival Crew Member After Deserting Cruise Ship

A Crew Member was captured at Atlanta Amtrak Train station by Federal agents after deserting cruise ship. Gentian Kurdina, age 21 from Albania who was working as Aquatic Attendant on Carnival Triumph has deserted the cruise ship while it was docked in New Orleans.

Brazilian Crew Member Medevacked from Pullmantur Sovereign

The Italian Coast Guard performed a rescue operation on Tuesday morning near Porto Torres, Sardinia, and made safe transshipment for medical evacuation of a 28-year-old Brazilian crewmember. The medical assistance was requested by the cruise ship Pullmantur Sovereign after a male crew member suffered an acute attack of appendicitis and needed urgent transfer to hospital.

The app called YOUR FREEDOM was widely used by Carnival crew on many ships, and for just $7 for 6 months crew were able to get unlimited access to surf the net.

Coast Guard ends search for overboard MSC Seaside Filipino crew member

The Coast Guard suspended search for the crewmember who was reported missing from MSC Seaside. Michael Majaba, age 37, of the Philippines who was working as Casino Technician went overboard from deck seven while the vessel was 8 nautical miles of St. Thomas in the Caribbean.

U.S. Coast Guard is searching for a cruise ship crewmember who went missing around 1 a.m. on Wednesday. According to the reports the missing crew member is identified as Michael M. Majaba, age 37, of the Philippines. Majaba who was working as Casino Technician reportedly went overboard from deck seven of the MSC cruise ship MSC Seaside while the vessel was 8 nautical miles southeast of St. Thomas, U.S.

A small fire broke out in the incineration room during the current 15-Night Panama Canal from Miami voyage on Norwegian Bliss. Following the Code Bravo, firefighting teams were deployed on Deck 4 where ships waste incinerator room is located and quickly managed to put the fire down.

Pride of America Cancels Hawaii Ports Due To Adverse Conditions

Norwegian Cruise Line announced it will cancel this week stops in Hawaii. The cruise ship Pride of America which makes regular voyages around Hawaii will not make any stops this week because of “adverse conditions” on the island. The cruise line released a statement today saying that their cruise ship will not call in Hilo on Tuesday, instead will spend a day at sea.
