Here are the 4 finalists for Princess Cruises ‘Entertainer of the Year’

Four finalists have been selected for this year sixth annual Princess Cruises Entertainer of the Year award. All four artists will perform on board Ruby Princess on the February 25, 2017 voyage to the Mexican Riviera. Each year Princess Cruises’ entertainment department selects four finalists based on guest surveys and the audience response.  The winner will receive the title, along with $5,000 on the final evening of the cruise during a gala event in the piazza. Here are the four finalists for ‘Entertainer of the Year’ award:

ROBBIE PRINTZ, COMEDIAN

Robbie Printz has been seen on Comedy Central, NBC, MTV, and A&E. The Improper Bostonian named Robbie "Boston's Best Comedy Act", in their Best of Boston 2003 issue. He also won the 2002 Boston Comedy Festival. Robbie has performed at the best comedy clubs across the nation, as well as numerous colleges, corporate events and onboard cruise ships. His performance is a reminder of childhood wonders and adulthood absurdities delivered with high energy and a fast pace that keeps audiences of all ages laughing from start to finish.

CHEAZA FIGUEROA, VOCALIST

Cheaza is a multi-talented performer. Her performing career includes television appearances from NBC “City Guys” to hosting on the CW network. Her dynamic vocal ability was also featured on MTV’s “The X Factor”, “Extra,” “South of Nowhere” on CBS, and a compilation album from The N network (now TeenNick). As a backup singer/improvisation for Wayne Brady, Cheaza graced prestige stages from Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., to the Las Vegas Strip. Cheaza was the lead singer/host for 4.5 years in one of the Strip's hottest performances “Peepshow,” at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. She also was voted “Best Singer of Las Vegas” in 2013 by The Las Vegas Review-Journal People’s Choice.

STEVE LARKINS, TRIBUTE: MERCURY RISING

From his home in New Zealand, Steve travels the world to perform his remarkably accurate impression of Freddie Mercury, as a tribute to the music of Freddie & Queen. International appearances include Beijing, where he appeared at corporate events during The Olympics, South Africa, Australia, Europe and The Legends Theatre, Las Vegas. With a strikingly similar physical appearance to Freddie and a vocal range of equal power – Steve’s hugely entertaining show regularly brings audiences of every age group and nationality to their feet, as they yell for more.

JOHN BRESSLER, MUSIC COMEDY

Audiences around the world simply love John Bressler. His unique blend of beautiful music and interactive comedy is one-of-kind. This multi-talented piano player and keyboardist known for his exuberant stage presence has been compared to Liberace, Victor Borge, and Elton John. And, his trademark voice is unforgettably soulful, rich and raspy like Rod Stewart or Louise Armstrong. John is truly a crown-pleasing and motivating performer.
