Coast Guard investigates Norwegian Pearl collision with fishing vessel

A U.S. Coast Guard investigation is underway into the collision between the cruise ship Norwegian Pearl and the fishing vessel Gabby G.

The Gabby G, was returning to port when it struck the Norwegian pearl, which was on its way to Bermuda, the Coast Guard said. The crash happened at 2:25 a.m. in rainy conditions about 35 miles southeast of Nantucket.

NCL takes delivery of the Norwegian Prima

Norwegian Cruise Line has taken delivery of its newest ship Norvegian Prima at the Fincantieri shipyard in Marghera, Venice.
