MSC Cruises, the world's largest privately owned cruise company, has initiated a massive recruitment drive to hire 36,000 shipboard and shoreside personnel by 2028. The Company’s 2017-2026 business plan is set for the arrival of 12 new ships divided into three different classes, Meraviglia, Seaside and World. There are also rumors that MSC Cruises will order 4 midsize cruise ships with a capacity of 700 guests and 200 crew members aiming to enter the luxury cruise market. 

The cruise line currently has job openings for the cruise ship MSC Seaview with a capacity of 1,413 crew, which will be completed at the end of May 2018, and for MSC Bellisima and MSC Grandiosa set to debut in 2019.

The new recruitments of MSC Cruises are aimed at candidates who are interested in working on board ships but also in offices or port bases. As for the onboard positions, MSC Cruises seeks candidates to be included in bars, shops, casinos, but also guest services, ship operational staff and so on. Applicants must have 2-year experience in the field they apply, Good knowledge of the English language. For those interested in working on board, the STCW95 valid certification is also required.
