Boy with Autism Missing After Disembarking Caribbean Princess in Germany

Submitted by kgnadmin on

Police are searching for a 14-year-old autistic boy from the U.S. who went missing in the port of Warnemünde, Germany. The boy, Aydin Brown, was last seen disembarking the Caribbean Princess on July 4, shortly after the cruise ship docked at the port, and has since disappeared. Witnesses reported that the teenager disembarked around 7 a.m.

The police launched a public search after his disappearance was reported. Aydin Brown is approximately 175 cm tall and has long, dark hair. He was wearing a dark jacket, long dark trousers, and retro shoes.

Video footage from the port area is now being analyzed to determine the direction Aydin Brown went after leaving the ship.

According to our source, Aydin was reportedly sailing on the Caribbean Princess with his grandmother, who disembarked in the port of Warnemünde with the assistance of a Care Team.

Rostock Police are seeking the public's assistance to locate the missing Aydin. Anyone with information about the missing teenager should contact the police station in Rostock-Lichtenhagen at 0381-77070. Information can also be passed on to any other police station. The police emergency number 110 can be used, or visit the MV State Police website at www.polizei.mvnet.de, the police said.

Several questions remain unanswered at this moment. It is unclear whether Aydin exited the ship by himself or if he was escorted by his grandmother. If he left alone, it raises concerns how he managed to pass the security checkpoint unnoticed.
