An 18-year-old passenger was rescued alive after jumping overboard from the cruise ship AIDAnova in the Baltic Sea, reports Morgenpost.

Yesterday, the crew of Icon of the Seas faced one of their hardest days at sea after a fellow crew member went overboard.

The Oscar alarm sounded just after 7 p.m., and everything stopped. The ship slowed, turned back, and a rescue boat was sent out right away. Everyone watched in silence as life rings were thrown into the water and the rescue team searched the sea to bring their colleague back.

A dramatic rescue unfolded Tuesday afternoon at the Port of Souda in Crete, when a 30-year-old crew member from a cruise ship plunged into the sea under unexplained circumstances.

The woman, identified as a Tunisian national working as an assistant seaman, fell overboard while the cruise ship flagged in the Bahamas, was docked at the port. The reason behind her fall remains unclear, prompting an ongoing investigation by Greek authorities.

Search efforts for a woman who fell overboard from Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas near the Bahamas have been suspended, announced the U.S. Coast Guard.
The incident occurred around 9:40 p.m. on Tuesday, approximately 17 miles north of Nassau, Bahamas. Multiple international agencies, including the U.S. Coast Guard and the Royal Bahamas Defense Force, were involved in the search.

An Indian crew member of the cruise ship Ambience, operated by Ambassador Cruise Line, was reported missing at sea. The ship was on its final leg of a round-the-world journey from Lisbon, Portugal, back to its homeport in Tilbury, UK, when the crew member was reported missing.
