Elizabeth “Lizzie” Clough, one of Carnival Cruise Line’s most dynamic Fun Squad members, has been officially promoted to Cruise Director. Known for her boundless energy and passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences, Clough has already served in the role for nearly a year aboard Carnival Valor. Her next assignment begins February 9, 2025, when she steps into the Cruise Director position aboard Carnival Miracle.

The announcement, made by both Clough and her mentor Kyndall “Fire” Magyar, was met with cheers from Carnival guests and colleagues. Magyar praised Clough’s dedication and growth, stating, “So so proud of this young lady, and can’t wait to see all she accomplishes in the future!”

A UK native, Clough joined Carnival in July 2018 and quickly rose through the ranks. She was part of the inaugural Fun Squad aboard Carnival Jubilee and has brought her vibrant spirit to ships like Carnival Freedom and Carnival Sunshine.

Reflecting on her journey, Clough shared, “To say I’m proud is an understatement. Lizzie from 6 years ago wouldn’t believe how far she has come.”

Known for her love of hosting Bingo, Clough delights in seeing guests’ excitement and sharing her trademark humor. Becoming a Cruise Director has been a long-held dream, and now, Clough is ready to lead with the same enthusiasm and heart that have defined her career.
