Christine Duffy Celebrates 10 Years at Carnival Cruise Line with Bold Moves

Submitted by kgnadmin on

Christine Duffy is hitting the big 1-0 as the powerhouse president of Carnival Cruise Line, and let’s just say – she’s been busy! Since stepping into the role in 2015, Duffy has led Carnival through massive growth, tons of ship additions, and even a skydiving stunt for hurricane relief.

Before taking the helm at Carnival, she was the CEO of the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) – but Carnival’s former big boss Arnold Donald saw something special in her. And boy, was he right!

DUFFY’S DOMINANCE BY THE NUMBERS:
•    9 new ships added to the fleet
•    13,500 sailings and 42.5 million guests hosted
•    70 ship refurbishments
•    15,780 new hires
•    672 flights and 1.7 million miles traveled
•    Named one of Forbes' top hospitality leaders and inducted into the CLIA Hall of Fame
•    Raised a whopping $27.3 million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
•    Took to the skies in an airship and jumped out of a plane

And she’s not done yet! Coming up, Carnival is launching its new Celebration Key in Grand Bahama this July, plus expanding Half Moon Cay and other island getaways. And with five more ships on order through 2033, the cruise line is just getting bigger. Plus Carnival is about to become Australia’s number one cruise operator in March?

With Duffy at the helm, Carnival isn’t just sailing – it’s soaring. Congrats on 10 epic years, Christine!
