MoneyGram International announced an innovative partnership with the FinTech Company Brightwell, which will help crew members send their money back home safely and easily. The new MoneyGram option is now available to all crew members using the Brightwell app. This empowers shipboard employees to support their friends and family in over 200 countries around the world.

The partnership between these two financial giants will offer crew members an easy and cost-effective way to send money home directly from their mobile devices while at sea and eliminates the need to wait until arriving at port to complete a money transfer.

Hundreds of thousands of people leave their homes to work in the cruise industry because it provides income and career opportunities that would be otherwise unavailable to them.
