Disney Cruise Line Entertainer Accused of Sexual Assault on Valentine’s Day

Disney Cruise Line entertainer was arrested in Orlando, Florida on Valentine’s Day, after a woman reported he sexually assaulted her. Police reports they arrested a 39-year-old Canadian Andrew Pogson in his hotel room at the Marriott Hotel at 7499 Augusta National Drive, near Orlando International Airport.

The woman told police she meet Andrew Pogson on a Disney cruise ship six months ago and she came to Orlando after he invited her to a Disney cruise. The victim stated that they were fiends and only friends with Andrew Pogson.

Prior to the cruise vacation Andrew and the victim stayed in Orland Marriot Hotel where they shared a room as friends. The woman told investigators that they spend a day at Epcot and she had been drinking and was extremely intoxicated.

The report says that afterwards, the pair got back to the hotel and the woman fell asleep. The woman told police that when she woke up Andrew was on top of her having sex. She run out of the room with a towel wrapped around her waist to get help screaming in the hotel corridor.

Andrew Pogson was arrested and is being held at the Orange County Jail.

The victim told police that Pogson was magician working for Disney Cruise Lines performing on a stage as Freddy Fusion.

Disney Cruise Line spokesperson say the company has suspended its contract with Pogson pending the outcome of the charge.
