Disney Destiny has arrived at Port Canaveral, marking another big step toward joining the Disney Cruise Line fleet. The ship will be officially christened on November 10 in Fort Lauderdale.

The newest Disney ship stands out as the first themed around Heroes and Villains, inspired by beloved stories from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Disney Parks. Guests sailing aboard will enjoy unique shows, activities, and experiences that can’t be found anywhere else. The maiden voyage is set for November 20, 2025, followed by an inaugural season of four- and five-night cruises to The Bahamas and the Western Caribbean from Port Everglades.

To celebrate its arrival, Disney Cruise Line released photos and a video of the ship’s arrival at Port Canaveral on November 2.

In connection with the ship’s launch, Disney Cruise Line is also supporting local communities through a new program called “Discover Your Destiny.” This initiative, created in partnership with organizations in The Bahamas and Florida, introduces students to the world of theater and entertainment careers. Through workshops and sessions with Disney’s creative professionals, students can explore their artistic talents and be inspired to dream big about their futures.
