Lisbon has been recognized as Europe’s Best Cruise Destination at the 4th annual World Cruise Awards, held in Funchal, Madeira. In addition, the Lisbon Cruise Port was awarded the title of Europe’s Best Cruise Terminal, marking a significant achievement for the city’s cruise tourism sector.

This is the second time Lisbon Cruise Port has earned the title, with its first win in 2022. Known for its state-of-the-art facilities and seamless integration with Lisbon’s iconic cityscape along the Tagus River, the terminal outperformed strong competitors, including ports in Barcelona, Oslo, Valletta, and Amsterdam.

The city of Lisbon also celebrates its second win as Europe’s Best Cruise Destination, having first received the award in 2021. Lisbon stood out among other popular cruise destinations such as Athens, Barcelona, Dubrovnik, Kotor, Rome, and Nice.

These awards reflect Lisbon’s growing reputation as a world-class cruise destination, offering visitors a combination of rich culture, stunning landscapes, and modern amenities. The city’s commitment to delivering exceptional experiences for cruise travelers played a key role in earning these prestigious awards.
