Crew member working on Norwegian Breakaway was sentenced to two years in jail for importing cannabis in Bermuda. The 30-year-old utility cleaner Lindel Primus from Grenada was arrested by the police with almost two kilos of cannabis on September 16 2015. The crew member hidden the drugs under spandex shorts and secured with rubber bands. On a routine search port authorities found the cannabis in four packages and informed the police immediately.

 Appearing in Bermuda Magistrates Court Lindel admitted bringing cannabis successfully twice before. In His defense Lindel Primus said that he committed the crime because he needed the money to take care of his five children and his grandmother.
