Smoking on Cruise ships

Submitted by kgnadmin on

Smokers have thought time on cruise ship. First of all there are two places where you can smoke, that is Crew Bar and Crew Open Deck. When you are on duty you usually have 30 minutes break. Now, you need to decide should I go to eat or should I take coffee and enjoy 2-3 cigarettes. If you take the first option then you need to eat fast and run in Crew Bar, so you can enjoy at least one or half a cigarette. Sometimes there is a big line in Crew Mess and you take the second option.
Crew Bar during this short brakes is nice place to meet the other colleagues and have friendly chitchat and gossiping the guest and other crew members.

Crew open Deck is another place where you can enjoy cigarette but when ship is sailing there is a wind so most of the time you don’t take this option unless ship is in the port and you can enjoy beautiful view with your cigarette.

There is one more place where you cant smoke but everybody knows lots of crew members use it for smoking and that is their own crew cabins. Oh yes you can enjoy a nice movie or play some game with your crew members while you and your friends enjoy cigarette. Smoking in Crew Cabin is forbidden and if security finds out you will get warning or concealing. Crew members are aware of this risk but this doesn’t bother them. There are smoke detectors but you can put some plastic bag and you can smoke as much as you want.

Cigarettes are cheap on ship, much cheaper than purchasing them in USA, Caribbean or any other port. Crew members can purchase them in Crew Bar or in Guest Store.

One more thing if you smoke in your cabin don’t take pictures or videos and upload them on facebook or YouTube like this guys :)
