The "Christina", Aristotle Onassis second home

Originally built in 1943 as a Canadian convoy escort, the yacht was purchased by shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis in 1954, who invested more than $ 4 million to restore the ship and named her after his daughter. Christina was transformed in the biggest and most luxurious yachts in the world.

During her famous history she accommodated celebrities and dignitaries including Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra, King Farouk of Egypt, the opera diva Maria Callas and many others. John F. Kennedy and Winston Churchill met aboard the yacht, in Ari's Bar and two of the century's most celebrated weddings were held in the Christina’s decks: Prince Rainier to Grace Kelly and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. After Onassis's death in 1975, his daughter Christina donated the yacht to the Greek Government. In 1998, the yacht was bought by John Paul Papanicolaou, Onassis family friend and leader of the shipping industry, who started a new Christina restoration that took three years. Today this yacht sails undre the name Christina O.

“Acania II” Al Capone Yacht

The 38 feet yacht was purchased by notorious gangster Al Capone after the stock market crash of 1929. Rumor's persistently followed Acania II thought out her history and along with the secret bar the many hidden and disguised lockers and the unusual coating on the water tank are some of the features of this yacht. The boat, which Al Capone called "Mert", was recently found and restored.

The 269-foot Qadisiyah Saddam (Ocean Breeze), built for Saddam Hussein is a pleasure yacht with swimming pools, opulent salons and, should the winds of war blow, a rocket launcher and mini-submarine. The interior has opulent Middle East-style in blue and gold hues that match the azure sea at sunset.

Sadam Hussein never used the yacht built in 1981, in fact the yacht barely spent time in Iraqi waters. As war with Iran raged, the vessel was moved to the safety of Saudi Arabia's Red Sea port of Jiddah in 1986.

The famous fashion designer Roberto Cavalli has one of the most attractive yacht's, the "Shark". Among the famous people who visited this luxury yacht valued at nearly $ 30 million are Sharon Stone, Mike Tyson and Beckahm’s. The exterior of the yacht is iridescent that combines purple and turquoise from the reflection by the sun. Interior resembles designer’s Italian roots, combining leather, "animal prints", natural fabrics in very elegant and tasteful manner.

The Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, is owner of 414 superyacht that has two helipads, seven boats, a submarine for ten people and one operated by remote control to explore the seabed. It is currently the 12th largest superyachts and  has side windows forming a ramp for using Jet Skis.

With a length of 536 feet, in 2008 Eclipse was crowned the biggest and most expensive yacht in the world. Its owner, Roman Abramovich, is one of the 50 richest people in the world.  The yacht's initial cost was estimated to exceed $ 485 million, but a September 2009 report indicated that final costs could reach 1.2 billion dollars.

The Eclipse has, two helipads, 24 cabins, two swimming pools, several hot tubs and  disco hall. It also comes equipped with three boats, and a mini submarine that can dive up to 50 meters. To efficiently operate this boat, it takes a crew of about 70 people. For security, Eclipse is fitted with intruder detection systems and a team of German missile defense. The windows in the suite of Abramovich and the bridge inside the boat are equipped with bulletproof glass. The yacht also features an anti-paparazzi lasers that when detect a CCD flash a light right in the camera.
