The Biggest Cruise Ship Life Raft

The world leader in Marine lifesaving equipment Viking, has tested their biggest life rafts on the latest cruise ship Genting Dream. Unlike the traditional life rafts with capacity of 25 people, used by most cruise ships, this life raft can accommodate 150 people. This giant life raft has same capacity of traditional lifeboats which are also used as a tender boats for transfer passengers and crew on shore. Only Royal Caribbean Oasis Class ships have 370-person lifeboats designed by Schat-Harding.

In the video provided by Papenburg Agency "Powerline" you can see the testing of this enormous life rafts. In less than 90 seconds two lifeboats are launched and inflated ready for boarding.
