AIDA Cruises Receives German Fairness Prize 2016

The cruise line AIDA Cruises has received the German Fairness Prize 2016 for third consecutive time. The German Institute for Service Quality led in cooperation with n-tv by an extensive consumer survey, bringing to about 40,000 customers opinions on more than 500 companies. AIDA has repeatedly ranked first, making it the most valued company in the cruise industry.

"It is a great honor for AIDA to be awarded for the third consecutive time. This shows that we provide in our daily work for the wellbeing of our guests, both on land and on board constantly. Customer feedback is important to us because we want our guests in the future to have unforgettable holiday experience, "explains Hansjörg Kunze, Vice President Communication & Sustainability of AIDA Cruises. The focus of the Germany-wide survey among others was price-performance ratio, the reliability of the products, services or corporate statements as well as the transparency of information on prices, product and contract services.

AIDA Cruises is one of the fastest growing and most successful tourism enterprises in Germany. Around 8,000 employees from 40 nations working on land and on board the AIDA cruise ships. AIDA operates currently with 11 cruise ships, and has one of the most modern fleets in the world. The ships are operated to the highest international quality, environmental and safety standards. Three more ships will be in the coming years in service. With the concept of "Green Cruising" AIDA will operate the world's first cruise line its new generation of ships from 2019 to 100 percent in LNG (liquefied natural gas).
