The cruise ship AIDAvita was supposed to restart on 19th of February, 2022, but as the time to the resuming cruises gets closer, it came out that the chances to get real are slim.  Therefore Aida Cruises announced that the restart will not take place on February 19, 2022 informing guests who have booked the cruise and sales partners about the canceling of the voyage “Great Canary Islands Winter Break.” 

“Unfortunately, we have to postpone the restart of AIDAvita to a later date. To our great regret, the voyage on February 19th, 2022 cannot take place as planned.” Aida Cruises said.

For those who don’t want to miss their long-awaited vacation, AIDA gives an option of an attractive rebooking for another trip. Guests on the canceled cruise will receive on-board credit of € 250 per person (1st and 2nd bed) if they rebook an AIDA cruise by February 28, 2022. 

With this new cancellation, the restart of AIDAvita has been moved to March 31, 2022 according to the current travel plan. A short trip to Stavanger would then be made on that date.
