Over the weekend, an altercation involving several passengers broke out aboard the world’s largest cruise ship Icon of the Seas. The incident occurred on the final night of the cruise, which was reportedly sailing at full capacity. Videos capturing the incident have surfaced on social media like YouTube, gaining widespread attention.

According to passengers who witnessed the brawl, the conflict began in an elevator and eventually spilled onto other area of the ship. Reports suggest that the fight lasted more than 30 minutes, involving teenagers aged approximately 16-19.

This month 40 Royal Caribbean Group employees from all three brands, both shipboard and shoreside, participated in an intensive training to achieve certification through the National Organization of Victim Advocates (NOVA). This initiative is a part of RCG larger effort to deliver comprehensive victim and survivor support training throughout the fleet.

Today, October 24, Oasis of the Seas kicks off a 14-day transatlantic cruise from Barcelona. After spending the summer doing week-long trips around the western Mediterranean and a visit to the Navantia shipyard in Cadiz, the ship is heading to the Caribbean.

Meyer Turku has floated the world's next largest cruise ship, Star of the Seas, out of her building dock at its yard in Turku, Finland. Following a traditional ceremony to mark the construction milestone on Wednesday, the ship was transferred to Meyer Turku’s outfitting pier with the help of tug boats, where she will remain until her delivery in 2025.
