TUI Cruises officially welcomed its newest vessel, Mein Schiff Relax, on February 7, 2025, at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy.

The handover ceremony was attended by executives from TUI Cruises and Fincantieri, including CEO Wybcke Meier and CFO Frank Kuhlmann, alongside Italian Minister Luca Ciriani. Meier described the event as a "special moment," emphasizing how Mein Schiff Relax ushers in a new era of well-being at sea.

The ship boasts expanded wellness facilities, including a barrel sauna on Deck 19 and an exclusive cryotherapy chamber reaching temperatures of -110°C. Solo travelers now have access to a variety of cabin options, while suite guests can enjoy panoramic Freedom Suites spanning two decks.

Gourmet enthusiasts will appreciate the enhanced dining experience, featuring dishes by renowned chef Tim Raue at the Asian restaurant Fugu.

Mein Schiff Relax is equipped with dual-fuel engines capable of running on liquid gas, bio-LNG, and E-LNG, reducing emissions significantly. The ship also features advanced waste treatment technology, converting organic waste into BioChar, a sustainable agricultural resource.
