For the first time since the brand was launched, both ships from Margaritaville at Sea came together at the same port, creating a rare moment for crew and guests.
The cruise line shared that Margaritaville at Sea Islander and Margaritaville at Sea Paradise were docked side by side at the Nassau Cruise Port, calling it a historic meetup and a celebration at sea.
The company said crew and guests from both ships took part in the event, turning what is usually a routine port call into a shared experience between the two vessels. The line hinted at onboard celebrations and activities, describing it as “an unforgettable meetup” and promising a “party for the ages.”
The moment is significant for a cruise line that has grown quickly in recent years. Once operating just a single ship, Margaritaville at Sea expanded its fleet with the addition of Islander in 2024, allowing the company to offer longer itineraries alongside its shorter Bahamas cruises.
Now, a third ship is already on the way. The company has acquired the former Costa Fortuna, which will join the fleet under the name Beachcomber. The vessel is expected to become the largest in the fleet and is scheduled to enter service in late 2026 or early 2027 after a full refit in the brand’s island style.
Once it joins, the Margaritaville at Sea Beachcomber will sail from Miami and offer new itineraries across the Caribbean, further expanding the company’s reach.
The Nassau meetup shows how the brand is building momentum as it grows. For crew, it offered a chance to connect with colleagues from across the fleet. For guests, it created a unique atmosphere with two ships sharing the same destination at the same time.
With a third and larger ship on the horizon, gatherings like this could soon become more common as Margaritaville at Sea continues to expand its presence in the Caribbean.
