Victoria Police are searching for a missing crew member who failed to return to the cruise ship. The missing person is identified as 36-year-old Lloyd Takana who was working on the Norwegian Cruise Line cruise ship Norwegian Pearl. Ships officers notified the police that one of their employees failed to return to the ship after he disembarked in Victoria, British Columbia on June 2nd, 2018.
According to Victoria Police Department Lloyd is described as a 36-year-old Black man with a slim build who stands approximately five feet, ten inches tall. Lloyd has a shaved head and was recently seen wearing a pair of modern flat sunglasses and a heavy silver neck chain. However, there is no precise information available for what he was wearing when he departed the ship. A recent photograph of Lloyd is above. The police didn’t mention about Lloyd's nationality or his work position on Norwegian Pearl.
Lloyd was granted a shore pass and departed from the cruise ship the Norwegian Pearl on June 2nd, 2018. He may have been in the downtown Victoria area that night. Officers were called when his failure to return to the ship was noted by staff.
