Woman Living on a Cruise Ship for Seven Years

Woman from Florida lives 7 years on a cruise ship, which pays about $ 164,000 annually. Her constant cruising is paid with money obtained from the sale of her home. After the death of her husband, she promised not to alienate of sea voyages they loved as a couple.

"My husband introduced me to cruise. During our marriage, 89 cruises we did. I made nearly a hundred and 15 around the world," said Lee 86 year old Wachtstetter, to USA Today.

After the death of her husband in 1997, Wachtstetter sold her five-bedroom house in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and began her endless journey on board the ship.

The widow explained that this year she will pay around $ 164,000 for a single cabin on the Crystal Serenity.

The woman said she rarely gets off the ship in port, but an exception is Istanbul where she cant resist the temptation to visit the Grand Bazaar.

Wachtstetter explained that although she misses her three children and seven grandchildren, frequently visits whenever the cruise ship is docked in Miami, which last year were five times. The Crystal Serenity was built in 2003 and can accommodate 1,050 passengers and a crew of 650 people.
