The world’s first flight simulator on cruise ship

On board guests can now enjoy state-of-the-art  flight simulator while sailing on a cruise ship. The largest flight simulator experience operator IFlight in partnership with TUI Cruises will install the world’s first flight simulator on the German cruise ship Mein Schiff 1. The cooperation between Europe's most successful chain of professional flight simulators and TUI Cruises will begin on September 24th 2016. In faithful cockpit replica passengers can choose take-off and landing from thousands of airports worldwide.

The choice of airports, and flights in the simulator, offer almost 24,000 unlimited combinations. Among the most exciting routes include the approach through the urban canyons of Hong Kong to the former Airport Kai Tak, the landing at the international airport of the Caribbean island of St. Maarten, or the short route over the Alps north side of the Bavarian capital Munich to Innsbruck in Tyrol. A trial flight aboard Mein Schiff 1 is suitable in different lengths for amateur pilots.”
