Carnival Cruise Line has renewed its partnership with maritime software provider Maranics for a third consecutive year, continuing a collaboration that has grown significantly since it first began.
Maranics provides digital tools that help crews and shoreside teams manage workflows, compliance, safety tasks, and daily operations more efficiently. What started as a smaller digitalization project has expanded across Carnival's fleet of 29 ships, with new uses for the platform being added each year.
According to Maranics, the continued renewal reflects Carnival's confidence in the system and the value it brings to shipboard operations. The company says the platform has become an important part of how crews manage operational consistency and compliance throughout the fleet.
Thomas Örnevik, CEO of Maranics, said the partnership has evolved beyond simply using the software, with Carnival continuously finding new ways to integrate the platform into its operations.
Carnival Cruise Line, which welcomes nearly six million guests annually, said the platform has become an integral tool for supporting safety, compliance, and operational processes across its ships.
The latest contract extension reinforces Carnival's ongoing focus on innovation and the use of digital solutions to support both crew members and the overall guest experience.
