The Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri is interested in the Bijela shipyard in Montenegro

Podgorica - The representatives of the Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri went in Bijela showing their interested in the privatization of the Shipyard in Montenegro. This company intends to run and repair ships and increase the presence of cruise ships of the fleet. During the meeting with the leadership of the Adriatic Shipyard, Italian entrepreneurs were informed about the production capacity and financial situation of the company. Recall that the Fincantieri is one of the most important cruise shipbuilding in Europe and the world is the undisputed leader in the construction of cruise ships and mega yachts. This company is responsible for the construction of merchant ships, warships, submarines, oil rigs, etc.. Fincantieri has more than 20,000 employees around the world and since 1959, the year in which it was founded, has manufactured about 7,000 ships. The company is having a significant profit in 2011 and has exceeded 10 million Euros. In addition to the Dutch company Damen Fincantieri also expressed its interest in the privatization of the shipyard Bijela and months, the yard of Montenegro and the Government are having negotiations with the latter. Although the tender for the privatization of the Adriatic Shipyard has not yet been published, several companies have turned their attention in this direction - they explained by the Shipyard Bijela.
