MSC Cancels Another Euribia Cruise as Ship Stuck in Dubai

MSC Cruises has cancelled the May 2, 2026 sailing of MSC Euribia from Kiel after the vessel was unable to leave the Middle East as planned.

In a notice sent to guests, the company confirmed that the ship’s repositioning to Northern Europe has been delayed due to the ongoing situation in the region. As a result, MSC Euribia will not be ready in time to operate its first scheduled cruise of the season.

The cruise line said the decision was made after reviewing all possible alternatives, noting that the cancellation is directly linked to the vessel’s delayed arrival rather than an operational choice.

Affected guests have been offered several options, including rebooking on another sailing later in 2026 with no change fees, onboard credit of up to €100 per person, or a full refund.

Passengers have been asked to confirm their choice by April 15, after which bookings will be automatically cancelled and refunded if no selection is made.

MSC stated that it remains available to assist guests in finding alternative vacation plans as the situation continues to impact schedules.
