The News Website Spise reports that a couple from Arizona, United States was arrested in Cozumel, Mexico for stealing in three different shops in the Royal Village shopping plaza.  Joshua (37) and Casey (20) arrived in Cozumel on Thursday aboard Carnival cruise ship in Puerta Maya Cruise Terminal.

They ended up in jail after being caught stealing two pairs of sunglasses from "Sunglass Island" shop, a pair of sandals from "Staf" Store and a bag of candy.

The arrest was carried out initially by security personnel after store employees spotted the thefts, at around three in the afternoon and notifed the police. Shop managers decided to press charges against the couple and they were arrested and jailed.

At the time of the incident Carnival Fantasy and Carnival Triumph were in Cozumel, Mexico on February 24.
