MSC Seashore to be named at Ocean Cay, MSC Cruises Private Island

Submitted by kgnadmin on

On the 18th of November, the MSC Cruises will officially name their latest flagship MSC Seashore at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in the Bahamas. This will be the first naming ceremony for a cruise ship to be celebrated on a private island. This occasion will be attended by media, travel advisors and the company stakeholders.

The Godmother of MSC Seashore, as well as of sixteen other MSC ships is the Hollywood royalty Sophia Loren, making this event even more fancy than it is. The party will take place both onboard and, on the island, with the ship docked throughout the night.

MSC said that the island has since gone through further work and significant improvements and this is “an opportunity for MSC Cruises to showcase the island to the invitees on this occasion.”

The MSC Seashore will become the third MSC Cruises ship based in the U.S and the company is offering a range of different length cruises from mini cruises, regular seven-night sailings to longer cruises of eight nights and 11 nights.

MSC Seashore will homeport at Port Canaveral since it is easily accessible and close to some popular attractions for passengers who want to continue their holiday after the cruise and enjoy the maximum of it. The MSC Seashore will remain for summer 2022 in Miami offering cruises with the MSC Divina out of Port Canaveral.
