The Norwegian Dawn, as the 10th ship in the NCL fleet to resume cruises, welcomed guests back on December 8, with cruises from Tampa in Florida. Adding NCL to the choice list for those wishing to sail from Tampa, makes four major US-based cruise lines: Carnival Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean International and Norwegian Cruise Line.

The kick-off cruise is 11-days long and has Key West, Amber Cove, St. Thomas, Curacao, Aruba and Grand Cayman on the schedule. From December through April 2022, Norwegian Dawn is set to offer a wide variety of Caribbean cruises sailing to the Bahamas, the Western, Eastern, and Southern Caribbean.

Built in 2002 originally for Star Cruises, the Norwegian Dawn entered service right away, with a capacity of 2,200 guests, offering double occupancy. 

The next NCL vessel, following the Norwegian Dawn to resume guest services this month is the Norwegian Pearl, with a capacity of 2,400 guests. It is scheduled to set sail from Miami, on December 23, kicking off a program of Caribbean and Panama Canal itineraries.

Norwegian Cruise Line started resuming the revenue services in July with Norwegian Jade, offering summer program fulfilled with destination-intensive cruises to the Greek Islands. The brand later expanded its restart to additional destinations, including Alaska, the Caribbean, the Western Mediterranean, the West Coast, Bermuda, and more.  As of now, NCL is offering cruises in the Caribbean, Middle East, Mexican Riviera and Europe from nine different homeports.
