Carnival Cruise Line's fleet operations team in Miami closely monitors Hurricane Ian and its potential impact on current cruise routes. Due to expected weather, Port of Tampa Bay and Port of Jacksonville (JAKSPort) are now closed and, as a result, these two upcoming sailings have been canceled:

Carnival Paradise - Four-day cruise from Tampa, Florida on Thursday, September 29. 

Carnival Elation - Four-day cruise from Jacksonville, Florida on Thursday, September 29.

      Note: Guests will receive a full refund and a 25% credit toward a future cruise.

In addition, itineraries are adapted for the following sailings:

Carnival Horizon, currently sailing a six-day itinerary that departed Miami, Florida on Saturday, September 25th, will not be making a stop in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands on Wednesday, September 28th. The ship will spend the day at sea instead and is expected to return to Port Miami on Thursday, September 29.

Carnival Sunrise, currently sailing a five-day itinerary departing from Miami, Florida on Saturday, September 24th, will not be calling at the port of Bimini, the Bahamas on Wednesday, September 28th. The ship will spend the day at sea instead and is expected to return to Port Miami on Saturday, October 1.

Carnival Paradise, currently sailing on a five-day cruise that departed on September 24th from Tampa, Florida, will extend today's overnight visit to Cozumel, Mexico, and is now scheduled to depart Cozumel on Wednesday, September 28th. the ship will then begin to return to Tampa but remains a safe distance from the storm as the company determines when Carnival Paradise can return to Port Tampa after the U.S. Coast Guard assesses conditions.

Carnival Elation, currently on a five-day sailing from Jacksonville, Fla., has replaced a scheduled visit to Princess Cai today with a sea day. The ship will visit Freeport, the Bahamas on Wednesday, September 28 instead of the expected sea day. It is likely that sailing will be extended until the port reopens after the storm has passed.

Carnival Ecstasy, which departed Mobile, Ala., on a five-day voyage Monday, Sept. 26, will visit Progreso, Mexico on Wednesday before visiting Cozumel, Mexico on Thursday. This change re-orders the visits, as the ship's original itinerary was set to visit Cozumel before Progreso.

Carnival Glory, which departed New Orleans on Sunday, September 25 for a seven-day voyage, will now visit Mahogany Bay, Roatan Belize, and Cozumel, Mexico. The ship was scheduled to visit Key West, Florida, as well as Freeport and Nassau, Bahamas.
