Gary Barlow Announces Two Charity Concerts Aboard P&O Cruises' Iona

The singer and songwriter Gary Barlow, will raise funds for two charities by performing on two P&O Cruises voyages, departing Southampton with Iona later this year. He will perform in the Headliner's Theater on a Spain and Portugal cruise leaving October 29 and, on a Spain, Portugal and Canary Islands cruise leaving November 12. 

All proceeds from ticket sales for the shows will be donated to Child Bereavement UK and the Teenage Cancer Trust. The star's partnership with P&O Cruises as musical director of the 710 Club on Iona has already seen a string of performances in the late-night music venue. 

Barlow said: “One thing I love is making memories. I think music does that extremely well. I look forward to joining guests aboard Iona later this year to create some truly special vacation memories. 

Paul Ludlow, Chairman of P&O Cruises, added: “It is a real pleasure to welcome Gary back to Ion for what will be an outstanding performance. 

As part of Take That, Barlow won eight Brit Awards and sold more than 45 million records. He has also written and produced music for other artists including Dame Shirley Bassey, Sir Elton John and Robbie Williams. 

Raffle tickets for Gary's shows on Iona can be purchased for £10 per person on board and places are limited.
