Submitted by kgnadmin on

Life at Sea Cruises, a new cruise brand under the Turkish company Miray Cruises, is set to embark on an unprecedented three-year global tour starting in November 2023 with its MV Gemini cruise ship. Despite the unlikelihood of guests staying on board for the entire voyage, this world tour is expected to break all records as the ship will visit 375 cruise destinations across 135 countries on all seven continents, covering a total distance of 130,000 miles.

Before the journey begins, the MV Gemini will undergo renovations at the shipyard to ensure it is in a modern and well-maintained condition. Embarkation for the three-year world cruise will take place on November 1, 2023 in Istanbul, November 5, 2023 in Barcelona, or November 16, 2023 in Miami. The ship will visit some of the world's most beautiful cruise ports, offering travelers an unforgettable experience.

Alternatively, the three-year trip around the world can be booked in eight individual stages, each offering unique travel experiences, such as exploring South America and Antarctica, discovering the beauty of the Caribbean and Central America, or embracing Europe's timeless charms. The ship's amenities also cater to those who need to work remotely, with two conference rooms, 14 offices, a library, a lounge, and a café on board. Additionally, residents of the ship can expect tax advantages while utilizing a reliable internet connection from the US company Starlink.

Built in 1992 by Union Navale de Levante, Valencia, Spain, MV Gemini measures 164 meters in length and 23 meters in width and can accommodate over 1,000 guests. It can also dock at smaller cruise ports without any issues. Currently being used as an emergency shelter for earthquake victims in Iskenderun, the ship will soon head to the shipyard to prepare for the three-year trip around the world. The cruise season in the eastern Mediterranean will begin in the spring, marking the start of an exciting journey for the MV Gemini and its guests.
