Submitted by kgnadmin on

Royal Princess emerged from the dry dock in Palermo with a giant hull logo. The cruise ship is the first in Princess Fleet to receive this distinctive logo, one of the largest in the cruise line industry. Symbolizing the gentle flowing grace of the ocean waves this large area logo on the hull will be identifiable from a distance on all Princess Cruise ships. Royal Princess has departed from Palermo today October 8, on a 14 night re-positioning cruise and is expected to arrive in its homeport Ft. Lauderdale on October 22 for the Caribbean cruise season.

Next cruise ship to receive the giant logo will be Majestic Princess, currently under construction in Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy. Majestic Princess, specifically designed for the Chinese travelers, will enter service in April 2017 with short European Season before repositioning to China.

Since 1968 the "Seawitch" logo has been the part of the Princess cruise ships.
