A man was airlifted from the cruise ship ms Zaandam early Tuesday morning, about 50 miles off the coast of Oahu. The U.S. Coast Guard responded after receiving a call from the ship’s doctor, reporting that the 32-year-old man was showing signs of a stroke. The ship was approximately 330 miles northeast of Oahu when the request for help came in on Monday morning.

The United States Coast Guard evacuated a female crew member in need of urgent medical attention from the Royal Caribbean cruise ship Navigator of the Seas.
The crew member, who was experiencing lower abdominal pain, was medically evacuated on Thursday at around 2:53 am while the ship was sailing in the Pacific Ocean just off the coast of Southern California this week.
