This advancement in technology allows people who don't even have cell phones to text for free. Yahoo! SMS allows both incoming and outgoing messages. Yahoo! has brought SMS messaging to a whole new level and is available to anyone who has a Yahoo! account.
SMS Texting With Yahoo! Email
- Open your Yahoo! email account and login using your username and password.
- Click the link on the top right that says "Compose Message," which will open your email with a new setup.
- Type the letter "T" on your keyboard.
- Select your country and a form will appear which will allow you to send a text message.
- Type in the cell phone number you wish to send an SMS text to, along with your message, into the text message form.
- Click the send button to send the SMS text to the cell phone.
