Costa Serena Restarts Cruises in Asia

Costa Cruises has announced the much-anticipated return of Costa Serena to service in Asia. Following two successful cruises between Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam, Costa Serena set sail today from the port of Busan in South Korea, with Nagasaki and Yatsushiro in Japan as its next destinations. This marks a significant milestone as the first outbound cruise to resume in South Korea after the lifting of travel restrictions.

Are There Limits on How Many Drinks You Get With Your Cruise Drink & Beverage Package?

The only cruise lines we know to have any limits on the number of drinks you can order are Carnival and Princess (which is owned by Carnival Corporation). They have a 15-drink limit on alcoholic beverages during the 24 hours from 6 am to 6 am. Non-alcoholic drinks aren't included in the 15-drink total.

Carnival Venezia Joins Carnival Cruise Line Fleet

Carnival Cruise Line has officially welcomed its latest addition to the fleet, formerly known as Costa Venezia, now named Carnival Venezia. The ship is currently in dry dock in Cadiz, Spain for renovation, including a new paint job and upgrades to many areas around the vessel. The ship was handed over to Carnival Captain Claudio Cupisti by Costa Cruises Captain Tihomir Muzic, with members from both companies in attendance.

Crew Member Dies Aboard Costa Diadema

We are deeply saddened to share the death of Costa Diadema crew member Amri Bin Mujono. The 55-year-old Indonesian National who was working in the engine department was found dead in his cabin by fellow crew members. 

The ship officers reported the death to the Italian maritime officials at the port of Cagliari, where the body was handed over to the authorities on February 20.
