We are deeply saddened to announce that the U.S. Coast Guard has ended their search for the Royal Caribbean crew member who went overboard from the cruise ship Majesty of the Seas. After 24 hours search and covering more than 1,388 square miles the missing crew member who was working in the bar department, was not located.

Princess Cruises was sentenced to pay a $360,000 dollars in reparation to the family of the Filipino crew member Allan Navales, who died on the cruise ship Emerald Princess in 2017. Dunedin District Court verdict, announced this week, states that Princess Cruises needs to pay $250,000 in reparation for consequential loss and $110,000 in emotional harm reparation.

A tragedy shocked the community of Bacoli in Italy, following the sudden death of Giuliano De Cicco who fell from the deck of a cruise ship docked in the Port Miami reports the Italian media. Giuliano De Cicco, age 38, was working as Assistant Destination Manager on Oceania Cruises ship Riviera.

Oceania Cruises say a crew member has died today aboard Oceania Riviera. The cruise ship arrived at Port Miami later than expected and many passengers expressed their frustration because of the delayed embarkation, not knowing what was going on.

The search operation for the missing Arron Hough, age 20, from Sunderland lasted for about 83 hours, covering 3,707 square miles, with three different aircrafts and Cutter Resolute. The search proved to be to no avail and the missing staff member was not found.

Family, friends and fellow co-workers gathered on Tuesday to pay their final respects to P&O Cruises crew member Godwin Da Costa, who died suddenly on December 16, at his home in Nuem, Goa, India.
