Michael Jordan on NCL Cruise back in 80s

Submitted by kgnadmin on

Back in the mid-80s the NBA Legend Michael Jordan boarded the Norwegian Cruise Line flagship SS Norway, purchased by NCL in 1979. Back then “SS Norway” sailed the Caribbean from Miami, Key West, Cozumel, Roatán and Great Stirrup Cay. Not much is known about this cruise that MJ took, except this photograph released by Jay Hairston on the social networks as a proof that Jordan was onboard. On the photo you can see Michael Jordan playing basketball, and in the top corner you can see the ships board sign of daily activities saying “Norway sports program – A Cruise Staff Fit with Fun Program”.  There is a big debate on internet wheatear this is Michael Jordan or not. Air Jordan looked quite different in his college days. However if you have doubt take a look at the photographs bellow of “His Airiness” from the 80s and you will be convinced.
