Princess Cruises has announced salary increase for eligible crew members, recognizing their hard work and contributions throughout 2025.
In a message sent to staff, company president Gus Antorcha thanked crew for what he described as an “outstanding year,” highlighting achievements in guest service, health and safety, compliance, and sustainability across the fleet.
According to the statement, all eligible teammates received a 2% rank-based salary increase, effective January 1, 2026. The raise will be reflected in January’s month-end payroll. For crew members currently acting in higher positions, the increase applies to their confirmed rank rate.
Management described the adjustment as “another step in the right direction” toward improving career development, rewarding performance, and strengthening the overall onboard work experience.
The company also pointed to several recent initiatives aimed at supporting crew, including new incentive programs, updated maternity and retirement policies, and improvements to scheduling tools. These efforts, leadership said, are part of a broader strategy to make Princess Cruises “a premier place to work.”
“Your dedication inspires us to keep raising the bar,” Antorcha wrote, adding that the company plans to continue investing in programs and resources that help crew members grow and succeed.
Crew members currently onboard with questions about the increase are encouraged to contact their ship’s HR team. Those at home can reach out to the Fleet Compensation Team for further clarification.
The announcement comes as many seafarers across the industry continue to push for improved wages, working conditions, and long-term stability. For many Princess crew members, the latest increase is being seen as a positive sign moving into 2026.
As the company looks ahead to another busy year, management closed the message by thanking crew for their ongoing commitment and professionalism, calling them a key part of delivering “elevated vacations” to guests worldwide.
