AIDAaura the 12th ship in the AIDA Cruises fleet started the summer season with voyages to Great Britain, Greenland and Northern France. On May 7, the cruise ship set sail from Hamburg on a 14-day voyage to Scotland and Ireland. In addition to impressive nature adventures on the Scottish islands, guests can expect a two-day stay in Kilibegs (Ireland) and Dublin. The small natural harbor of Kilibegs is the perfect starting point for excursions to the unique coastal landscapes of northwestern Ireland. AIDAaura stays overnight in Dublin. This gives guests the opportunity to explore the Irish capital extensively.
Captain Carsten Vaetge and his crew look forward to the guests and this trip. After staying at the shipyard in April, they have used the past weeks intensively to prepare the ship for guests.
In addition to trips to Great Britain and Ireland, the AIDAaura program includes northern France and the Bay of Biscay in Hamburg.
AIDAaura cruises from Bremerhaven in July and August take you north. Amazing natural spectacles and unique wildlife make these trips an unforgettable experience. 21-day trips lead to Scotland, Iceland and Greenland, in addition to giant icebergs, glaciers and fjords.
On October 18, 2022, AIDAaura will say goodbye to Germany and head to its winter destination, South Africa. The most important crossing points for Cape Town are the Canary and Cape Verde Islands, Walvis Bay in Namibia and Luderitz on the edge of the Namib Desert.
