Search efforts for a woman who fell overboard from Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas near the Bahamas have been suspended, announced the U.S. Coast Guard.
The incident occurred around 9:40 p.m. on Tuesday, approximately 17 miles north of Nassau, Bahamas. Multiple international agencies, including the U.S. Coast Guard and the Royal Bahamas Defense Force, were involved in the search.

The search for a crew member who went overboard from the cruise ship AIDAperla in the English Channel has sadly been called off. This incident unfolded on Sunday, October 22, near the Kent coast, not far from Ramsgate. The search and rescue operations were coordinated by HM Coastguard, with a Coastguard search and rescue helicopter from Lydd, a Coastguard fixed-wing aircraft, and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution's (RNLI) all-weather lifeboats from Ramsgate and Dover.

After rerouting due to Hurricane Idalia, the cruise ship Wonder of the Seas encountered further deviation from its planned course on Tuesday evening due to an incident involving a person falling overboard. At approximately 7:55 p.m., an announcement was made aboard the ship, notifying passengers that an individual had fallen or jumped into the sea.

The US Coast Guard is leading the search for an Australian man who went overboard from Royal Caribbean's Quantum of the Seas, south of Hawaii. The ship's crew reported the man missing at 11:03 pm on Tuesday, prompting a search and rescue operation, which included a rescue speed boat to search for the missing person. The US Coast Guard air crew arrived on the scene two hours later to join the search efforts, about 500 miles south of the Big Island town of Kailua-Kona.
