Submitted by kgnadmin on

The cruise ship AIDAstella has completed its scheduled dry dock maintenance at the Chantiers Naval de Marseille shipyard in southern France. The maintenance work carried out on AIDAstella included routine maintenance and exterior renovation, such as removing marine growth from the hull of the ten-year-old ship. The shipyard also installed new antennas for Starlink Internet conection.

As contractors disembarked from the ship, the dry dock was flooded, and AIDAstella was ready to resume regular cruise offers. The ship is expected to arrive at the departure port of Palma de Mallorca on Monday evening for the upcoming short trip through the western Mediterranean to Marseille and Barcelona from Palma de Mallorca, which begins on Tuesday, March 21st.

AIDAstella, the youngest ship of the popular Sphinx class, celebrated its 10th birthday on March 16th. The ship has mainly operated in the Mediterranean and will continue to do so in the future. AIDAstella is scheduled to operate on four different ten- and eleven-day cruises through the western Mediterranean in the upcoming summer season.
