Bomb in Port of Genoa

Due to safety issues all TV and radio transmissions within a radius of eight kilometers will be disabled.

During construction operations in the port of Genoa 220 pounds bomb with a potential high explosive was discovered dating from the Second World War.
Dismantling of the bomb is scheduled for August 26 because on Sundays the activity of the terminal are reduced and the ships that are scheduled for this day will be redirected to other port.
Due to safety issues all TV and radio transmissions within a radius of eight kilometers will be disabled.

During theĀ  dismantling of the bomb which will be carried by the bomb disposal experts of thirty Guastatori Army regiment, the area will be closed and air navigation will be interrupted along with the gas flow and water.

After dismantling , the bomb will be loaded onto a truck and, will be transferred to a safe location where will be destroyed.
