A travel agent will be the protagonist of the Italian special event of the baptism of Costa Diadema , which will take place in Genoa on November 7. After a selection of travel agents around the world, with over 700 women from 50 countries who are candidates for the role of godmother, Carolina Miceli , from Palermo, was chosen to represent the values of Costa Cruises: in his daily work in the agency Tagliavias has always shown great passion, becoming an ambassador of Costa cruises with his clients. The godmother of Costa Tiara, accompanied by four bridesmaids, will be the star of the evening of November 7, when the ceremony of baptism enliven the "Emerald Theatre" of the ship.

During the gala, the godmother of Queen shall sit in stalls next to the Captain of Costa Diadema, and go up on stage to pronounce the ritual formula, "I'll give you the name Costa Diadema." The commander will reply "Godmother, in God's name, size" and she cut the ribbon to break a bottle on the bow of Costa Diadema.

From 8 November to the end of summer 2015, the new flagship will propose an itinerary for a week in the western Mediterranean, with stops in Savona, Marseille, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Naples and La Spezia.
