Clive Palmer will Reveal Titanic 2 Plans in New York

Australian billionaire Clive Palmer who announced plans to make a replica of the famous ship Titanic, with identical dimensions as the original, will make a special presentation on December 4th on the preserved aircraft carrier USS INTREPID.

Among those attending the presentation will be Caroline Kennedy, daughter of the former U.S. president, John F. Kennedy and prominent American businessmen.

“It will be a chance for the business community of the United States and, indeed, the world to see the wonderful progress that’s been made on our TITANIC II project,” Mr. Palmer said.

On this presentation guests will be served identical dinner to that which was prepared for the original Titanic passengers in 1912.

The first trip of the new vessel is scheduled for 2016. The ship will set sail from China where it will be built up to Southampton in England, where they will collect passengers and head for New York.

The vessel will be 270 meters long, 53 meters high and 40,000 ton. It will have 840 rooms, and it will be divided  in first, second and third class as it was on the original ship.
