The Coast Guard Does it Again

The passenger was suffering from symptoms of cardiac distress. Thanks to the fast response of the crew members of the RCCL Radiance of the Seas...

One of the few things that any passenger does not want to experience during his or her vacationing aboard one of the all-inclusive cruise ship is to get sick or have a heart attack.  Unfortunately that is exactly what happened to the 72-year-old male passenger this Tuesday.

The Coast Guard had to perform its medical evacuation operation with in order to rescue the life of this passenger.  The passenger was suffering from symptoms of cardiac distress.  Thanks to the fast response of the crew members of the RCCL Radiance of the Seas he and his wife were transported to the shore in a small boat close to Juneau, Alaska.

As soon as the passengers were brought at the shore, the Coast Guard transported them from Hoonah to Juneau, where they boarded an Airlift Northwest jet and were flown to Seattle for further medical assistance
