Costa Concordia arrived at Port of Genoa to be scrapped

The cruise ship Costa Concordia , which started its journey on July 23 from the island of Giglio, arrived on Sunday to port of Genoa, where it will be scrapped. Concordia had to sail the last few miles at 0.5 knots ( 0.92 miles per hour ) due to a strong wind from the north, which delayed his arrival, initially scheduled for this Sunday morning. The technicians responsible for the operations of the Costa Concordia begin the appropriate maneuvers, a process that will take between 4 to 6 hours as project managers. The scrapping of Costa Concordia will last 22 months and will have two areas of Genoa Port shipyard and Pra-Voltri Sampierdarena.
